The old school shape is characterized by a wider nose and tail, with a more pronounced kicktail and a less symmetrical design.
The width of old school decks typically ranges from 8.5 inches to 10 inches or more, offering a more stable and comfortable ride, particularly for cruising and carving. The wider surface area also provides ample space for a skater's feet, making it easier to land tricks and maintain control during high-speed manoeuvres.
