Ventro Pro Turbo Quad Roller Skates
Ventronic Imports have been supplying skates to the UK since 1981. One of the skates that they supply is the Ventro Pro Turbo. With its black and white colourway, its low price and how well it fits most people, it has become one of the most popular skates we sell here in Slicks. Let's see what components come with the skate and we will have a look to see why the skate is so popular.
Ventro Turbo Components
Upper Boot
Firstly, we have a nice and wide upper boot made of black polyurethane with a high cuff attached for extra support. Having the boot so roomy inside makes it an ideal skate from those with wider feet and it also can allow for downsizing if you like to squeeze your feet into tight skates.
Liner
The skate features a padded removable liner that expands to the shape of your foot after use. We recommend you to make sure that the liner feels really tight on your foot when brand new.
Plate
Attached to the boot we have a Playmaker Plate with Playmaker Zytel Chassis. This plate is lightweight yet strong enough to handle impact when landing jumps. The plate includes a standard black stopper at the front.
What wheels come with the Ventro Pro Turbo Skates?
Wheels
The Ventro wheels come with a Hardness of 83A and are 61.5mm by 31.5mm in size. These wheels are very universal. You will be able to skate indoors on a rink or outside on the streets or in the parks. On our website we do offer this skate with a few wheel options.
- Get the skate boot only so you can add any wheels of your choice.
- Get the skate with the 61.5mm Ventro wheels that I mentioned above.
- Get the skate with 65mm Air Wave Wheels that are amazing for street skating.
Bearings
The skates come set up with some ABEC 1 bearings. Many people won't think this is very good but in fact these bearings are absolutely perfect to get you rolling around. The bearings are not the fastest for sure but most skaters would not be able to tell the difference speed wise between an ABEC 1 bearing and an ABEC 9. What's great about these bearings is that they are shielded which stops dirt from getting into the bearings and it also means they are much stronger than a sealed or open bearing. Should I order my normal shoe size when ordering the Ventro Pro Turbo?
Size Tip
As I mentioned above, the shell is very spacious inside. If you have the chance to visit us to try them on then perfect but the fact that they are made wide and spacious inside you can comfortably choose your normal shoe size when ordering these skates.
